Eve, Andy, and the girls are coming over Tuesday after school to choose. Kim, James and their 3 year old daughter, Jaycee are next, from Houston. It's Jaycee's birthday gift! Then it's Joy's turn, which she'll do long distance from Lubbock. Hayley's horse trainer, Tanya, is going to have to make a decision after that (she likes three). Then it's Caroline, Axel, Ingrid & Konrad's turn (if they want to). After that, Georgie and Olivia will be able to come over and choose. That should take us through the week. So, have fun everybody! Can't think of a happier thing to do than pick a puppy.
These guys are so sweet. Kisses, kisses, kisses. They love to be picked up and sat with. Ellie's weaning them now, and they're on Espilac, which is a dry milk & rice food, mixed with ground puppy food. We've started spreading painter's paper on the floor, those brown stair wide sheets that come in rolls. They pretty much like to use that area for their business, so maybe they'll be kind of paper trained by the time they leave.
Harry is getting to be a curly bear, and so people oriented. He and Nellie act like they were crossed with Airdale instead of Poodle, they're so spunky. Chloe is still the graceful, leggy one, with a charming personality. Scooter and Tinkerbell just fall all over themselves trying to climb into your lap. They are adorable. Josephine is another who just prances and plays. Izzy is advanced and loves to play with toys. Lambie Pie still has his sweet lamb like personality, but he gives those little growls and leaps and plays a bunch. Jasper is gentle, sleeps upside down in McKenzie's arms, and just loves to be held. Kirby is still the largest, most regal and independent. A pack leader in the wild. Wild Thing is getting rambuctious, curious, and has such a big face and paws.
We've had lots of visitors, and Ellie is fine with it all. So come over if you want to, as I'm here a lot. Again, thank goodness for Marie at Linderlabradoodles. I don't know what I would have done without her! She's always there to talk and help me out.
Hayley's just told Eddie that Toby took his toy octopus. It's all crackly. Eddie went dashing out of the puppy pen and gave Toby a bunch of growls. So Toby has hidden the octopus behind me in the chair here. Maybe Eddie's the dad to Harry and Nellie....
Oh, this is hard. Hayley wants to keep Chloe. She says she'll give Eddie back to Mike. But if she does that, then McKenzie will be sad she can't keep Jasper. So it's not fair at all. And I really want Harry and Nellie...and Tinkerbell and Scooter and Wild Thing. Well, we'd want them all. Hurry and pick!
