The puppies are blissfully ignorant of such things though. Just as I had been throughout the day--Ellie hung out with me today, doing errands, going to the hairdresser, and walking around the lake. She actually went into the hair salon leashless and kept by my side through the whole color & cut session. Very poodle like! She's my chum.
Cooked Ted's halibut last night and it was the best!!! Thanks Ted. McKenzie whipped up a sauce of fresh garlic, lemon, parsley, and cilantro, and it was just a beautiful touch to that incredible fish. Scooter's one lucky dog (Ted's a distributor for Alaskan seafood), and bought Scooter after being across from us at the farmer's market last week. Scooter's going to ride around in the truck with him every work day except Mondays.
Tinkerbell was picked up on Sunday. Lordy, I'd forgotten to get the puppies wormed at their vet appointment! Sue was going to take her in today, because she's taking Tink (Josie) to Atlanta Wednesday. Anyway, Sue and Mike were proud parents, and I ran into Mike a half an hour later at the liquor store where he was shopping for a special bottle to celebrate.
