Porsche puppies
Geoff and I took Ellie and the puppies to the Porsche dealership on Broadway yesterday. We were there about 2 hours (Geoff test drove 2 and then talked with the salesman). The puppies were very grown up and behaved themselves beautifully--for the first hour and a half. Then they started wrestling and exploring, and before you knew it they were friends with everybody on the lot. We went to Geoff's favorite restaurant on the way home, and they all slept while we enjoyed wine & pizza. Lovely day, all in all. It's nice when Geoff can take off a full day on Friday. It does mix me up though. I woke at 6:30 this morning and jumped out of bed. Knocked on McKenzie's door to tell her she had 15 minutes, and she groaned: "Mom, it's Saturday."
