State Inspector comes to call

Wow.  How unexpected....  Katie Parker, a state of Colorado Dept. of Agriculture Division of Animal Industry inspector just stopped by unannounced.  Someone reported my breeding animals and wanted the facility inspected.  

Katie was looking for more dogs, and unclean conditions.  Fortunately, I didn't even fall under the auspices of a "breeder", as you need to have 15 dogs on the premises over 4 months of age, or breed more than two litters a year.   I showed her the blog and the YouTube videos though, to appease her conscience.  She was satisfied with the way they're brought up.  Wonder if our feud with the neighbor brought this about.  Our dogs were eating the goat he left outdoors for a couple of days after the mountain lion killed it.  

On a happier note, Harry & Eddie just had a nice little playtime with Alice, who lives down our road.  I just love that little girl!  She's all legs and bright eyes and fun.

Update

Hugo, Ringo, Hank, Josie, Bobbi, and Alice are all doing great!!!!  So good to hear from everyone.  Sounds like Hugo and Hank are the largest who've reported in, with Hank banging the bell at 25 lbs a couple of days ago!  Josie was just 14 lbs a couple of weeks ago.  Alice and Bobbi played together, and Alice is bigger than Bobbi, but Bobbi's all legs with fur boots & a little beard.  Hank is getting accolades for being so sweet and mellow.
